My name is Roberto Mura and I was born in 1973 in Switzerland, where I lived for five years, before I moved with my family to Sardinia, Italy.
In 1994 I moved to Florence for studying architecture, between 1999 and 2000 I studied for one year in Lisbon, Portugal.
Since 2004 I live in Vienna, Austria.
I'm a hobby and self taught photographer, I started taking pictures in 1999, when I bought my first camera in Florence, a lovely Pentax MX, till now my favorite camera. Than during the years I added some lenses and some other cameras. In 2004 I create my first, very cheap, dark room and I started to develop by myself films and to print my own black and white pictures.
During the years I started collecting old Pentax cameras, lenses and accessories.

All the pictures are taken with Pentax film cameras, 35mm and medium format, and with Pentax lenses.
All the cameras, lenses and accesories that are in the section "equipmnet" belong to me.
I normally use Ilford films, FP4 and HP5, but some  pictures are taken also with Ilford Delta 3200, Fuji Neopan 1600, Agfa APX 100 and Kodak Tmax.
I develop by myself the films using a Jobo tank 1500 series and I normally use Agfa Rodinal as developer, but some films are also developed with Ilford Ilfosol S. Than I use Ilford Ilfostop and Ilford Rapid Fixer for the rest.
I print my pictures with a Durst AC 900 enlarger with a Rodenstock Apo-Rodagon 1:2,8 f=50mm for 35 mm films, and a Rodenstock Eurygon 1:4 f=80mm for medium format.

I used Nvu to design the pages and OneButton FTP to put them on the net.
Pictures and negatives are scanned with a HP 4890 scanner, and processed with Gimpshop on an Apple computer.
